Before CitySocialising, meeting new people in Birmingham and Coventry was tricky. We take the edge off and make it relaxed and fun again with an online service to encourage friendly professionals to meet new friends in the area and develop friendships with an offline focus.

CEO and founder of CitySocialising, Sanchita Saha, first got underway developing her budding social network in 2005, with the help of the Princes Trust. The trial site was a huge success, helping professionals to strengthen their social circles and in January 2007, CitySocialising launched officially in London.

The success of the London network meant that others looking for an easy way to meet new friends in their city began to enquire and so in October 2007 CitySocialising launched sites in seven other UK cities. But this was still not enough and so in 2009, further cities were added to the network too, helping out-going professionals nationwide to enjoy new friendship circles.

Meeting friends in Coventry and Birmingham is our job and we introduce new friends to other busy professionals and new locals to ensure that people with the same outlook and similar hobbies get to know each other. There are so many exciting places to go and we use our Socials to explore the local area all the while encouraging members to make new Coventry and Birmingham friends!
